Do you stay overnight?
Yes! Overnight house sitting is one of our most popular services.
A sitter stays overnight in your home so your pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their normal routine. This option is ideal for pets who enjoy extra companionship or experience stress when left alone overnight.

What's the difference between Overnight Sitting and Bed & Barkfast?
Overnight House Sitting
Overnight House Sitting includes a sitter staying overnight in your home with your pets. We typically arrive between 5:00–6:00 PM for dinner and evening care and stay until approximately 7:00–8:00 AM the following morning.
This service also includes a midday potty break visit each day.
Bed & Barkfast House Sitting
Bed & Barkfast is a great alternative for pets who would benefit from extra time and attention but don't necessarily need someone staying overnight.
This service includes:
-
A 30-minute breakfast visit in the morning
-
An extended 2-hour evening visit
-
Dinner and feeding routines
-
Exercise and playtime
-
Cuddles and companionship before bedtime
Not sure which option is the best fit for your pets? We're happy to discuss your pets' needs and help you choose the service that's right for them.

Can you administer medications?
Yes! We have experience administering a variety of medications, including:
-
Oral medications
-
Topical medications
-
Insulin and other injections
-
Eye medications
-
Ear medications
Please discuss your pet's medical needs during the meet and greet so we can ensure we're the right fit for their care.
Do you care for anxious or senior pets?
Absolutely. Many of our clients specifically choose in-home pet sitting because their pets are happiest and most comfortable staying in their own familiar environment rather than being boarded.
We have experience caring for:
-
Pets with separation anxiety
-
Senior pets who may need extra assistance or patience
-
Rescue pets
-
Shy or fearful animals
-
Pets with medical needs
We understand that every pet is unique and are committed to providing personalized care tailored to their individual needs and comfort level.
How far in advance should I book?
We always recommend booking as early as possible, especially during high-demand travel periods.
This is particularly important for:
-
Holidays
-
Summer travel
-
Spring break
-
Weekends
Our schedule fills quickly during peak seasons, and advanced booking helps ensure availability for your desired dates.
Do you charge holiday fees?
Yes. Holidays are some of our busiest times of the year, and our team members often spend time caring for pets instead of celebrating with their own families. To help compensate them for working during these high-demand periods, a $10 holiday surcharge applies to visits scheduled on major holidays and select holiday weeks/weekends.
As a thank you for their dedication, 100% of the holiday surcharge goes directly to your sitter.
Please contact us if you have questions about whether your travel dates fall within a holiday period.
What if my travel plans change?
We understand that plans can change! Simply communicate any schedule changes as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate them based on availability.
The more notice we're given, the more flexibility we'll typically have to adjust your reservation.
Will I receive updates while I'm away?
Absolutely! One of the things our clients love most about KLC Pet Sitting is the detailed updates they receive after every visit.
Your visit reports may include:
-
Photos
-
GPS-tracked visit times
-
Potty updates
-
Feeding updates
-
Notes about your pets' behavior and activities
Many clients tell us these updates provide complete peace of mind while they're away from home.

Do you require house keys?
Yes. While many clients provide a garage code or front door keypad code, we do require access to a physical key as a backup in the event of a battery failure, power outage, or keypad malfunction.
We are happy to securely retain a key while you are away, but if you prefer, your emergency contact may keep a backup key instead. Lockboxes are also a great option and are commonly used by many of our clients.
During your meet and greet, we'll discuss the safest and most convenient home access arrangement for your household.
Are you able to handle emergencies?
Yes. We take emergencies very seriously. In the event of a pet-related emergency, we will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if necessary based on the emergency contact and veterinary information you provide during onboarding.
Our goal is always to act quickly, responsibly, and in your pet's best interest while keeping you informed every step of the way.
Why should I hire a professional pet sitter instead of boarding?
Many pets experience less stress when they can remain in the comfort of their own home rather than being boarded in an unfamiliar environment.
In-home pet sitting allows pets to:
-
Maintain their normal routine
-
Avoid exposure to illnesses commonly found in boarding facilities
-
Stay comfortable in familiar surroundings
-
Receive personalized, one-on-one attention
It also provides added home security while you're away by ensuring your home is regularly visited and cared for.
What makes KLC different?
We truly treat pets like family.
Since April 2023, we've proudly cared for hundreds of local families and built our business through trust, communication, reliability, word-of-mouth referrals, and a genuine love for animals. Our goal is always to provide exceptional care while giving pet parents complete peace of mind when they're away from home.
Can you watch multiple pets?
Absolutely! We are very comfortable caring for multi-pet households, and many of our clients have multiple pets.
We do not charge per-pet fees. However, in rare cases, services may be declined if the number of pets or level of care required exceeds what a sitter feels they can safely and comfortably manage.
Do you offer wedding pet services?
Yes! We absolutely love being part of our clients' special day and are proud to offer Wedding Day Pet Attendant services.
We offer several packages designed to help include your furry family members in your celebration while ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the event.

Can someone stay with my dog most of the day?
We offer multiple drop-in visits throughout the day, but we do not provide daycare-style care where a sitter remains in your home all day long.
Our sitters typically care for multiple clients throughout the day and travel between visits.
That said, during overnight house sitting, if a sitter has a lighter schedule, they may choose to spend additional time at your home between visits. This varies based on the sitter's schedule and should never be expected as part of the service.
Do you offer cat sitting only?
Yes! We offer cat-only visits and have many feline clients.
Our Quick Cat Care visits are designed specifically for cats and include:
-
Feeding and fresh water
-
Litter box scooping
-
Playtime or affection with any remaining time
These visits are perfect for independent cats, shy kitties who may prefer limited interaction, or owners looking for a simple daily check-in. Longer visits are also available for cats who enjoy more attention, playtime, or companionship.
Can you water plants and bring in mail?
Absolutely! We are happy to help with light household tasks while you're away, including:
-
Bringing in mail and packages
-
Watering indoor and outdoor plants
-
Rotating lights
-
Other small tasks that help keep your home looking lived-in and cared for
Do you offer recurring midday walks for working owners?
Yes! Many of our clients use us regularly for midday dog walks or drop-in visits while they're at work.
Whether you need occasional help or a consistent weekly schedule, we're happy to create a routine that works for you and your pets.
Still Have Questions?
We'd love to help!
Feel free to contact us anytime or schedule a complimentary meet and greet. We're always happy to discuss your pets' needs and help you determine which services are the best fit for your family.
